.........it sounds like you are getting the Kawasaki Vulcan 750 that also comes with a "touring package" (windshield and hard saddlebags). It is a fine ride, but WD is right about both bikes being outdated in styling (Hey! My VS700 is outdated-but I love it's "classic" style!) The fuel gauge and up top lock and key you mention are characteristic to the VN750, not the Intruders. I think it's safe to say that after all these years the Intruder 400/600/700/750/800/1400 models could be called "retro" now. Even the Savage has been around pretty much unchanged for quite some time now. I kinda like Suzuki's "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude. KNOWHATIMEAN?
